Tasting Notes This ruby red Cotes du Rhone is a real family affair. Produced by Bernard Latour and his sons Julien and Emilien on a terroir that dates back to the time of the Knights Templar, it's simply fantastique with roasts and casseroles. Crafted at Domaine de l'Espigouette, this old-vine blend of Grenache, Syrah and Mourvedre is a classic Rhone red vinified traditionally and slowly matured in oak. Ruby red in colour, the wine displays aromas of red and black berry fruits with whispers of basil, black pepper and exotic spices. The palate offers a generous helping of luscious berry fruit together with savoury undertones and a soft plushness, all supported by rounded fine grain tannins. Savour it with roasted red meats or vegetables slow-cooked casseroles rich dishes and stinky cheese. A la votre!
