50cl / 18% - Jean-Hubert and his wife Brigitte specialize in producing oxidative wines. The Rancio sec AOC says that the wines must be dry, no alcohol added and minimum aging of 5 years. This couple only produce tiny amounts and age the wines for 10 years with no added sulphur. On the nose coffee, raisin and an almost sherry like character. The palate is lovely and rich with olives, sultana and baked hazelnuts and almonds. Try this with some pate or hard cheese.
